Our preselection will be held in our meeting hall at the Bracken Ridge Community Hall, Bracken St; Bracken Ridge (next to the Library) on Saturday, May 12th with birds to be benched between 8.30am and 9.30am with judging commencing at 10am straight after a cuppa.
We need four birds in 22 classes so bring down every bird you have with a 2011 ring on please. Let the judges decide if they are good enough to be benched. You haven’t got enough show cages? Don’t worry put a couple of birds in one cage and we will do some juggling on the day if we have to. It costs nothing to enter your birds and you can have a lot of fun listening to judges, watching the process etc. WE NEED YOU. Also, most importantly, do not despot your birds masks. If selected a special team of Neale Love, Garry Menzies and Charlie Chiang will be doing all the preparing of the South Queensland Team.
On the following weekend, Sunday May 20th the Zone team will be selected to represent us in Geelong on the following weekend. This selection will be held at Aviation High, Widdop St; Hendra with judging commencing at 8.30am. Free entry so come along.
